Hey guys,

I do not post here too often but visit almost daily. I took a trip down to Deal's Gap/Tail of the Dragon in NC/TN recently with my Z32 and also had my FX there as a support vehicle. I saw a pretty good picture on KillBoy of my FX and thought I would share and it is also the first picture I have posted of it on here I believe. Just want to say thank you for all the information on this site!

Looks great Ragtpz.
How was the FX50 on the twisties there? I have thought of going there sometime but was't sure if it was more suited to motorcycles and smaller sports cars.

Thanks, just wish it was clean. It rained so much that week.

I have to admit it did fairly well as long as you keep in mind that it is an SUV. You are definitely not going to break any section times there but you can have fun with it and the paddle shifters really played a good role there. My biggest advice would be is to not have crap tires or brakes there. Speaking of which.....

For those that are curious, in that picture my tires are the 275-45/21 Pirelli Scorpion Verde if you wanted to see what a 275 tire looks like on a stock 21. Tire Rack carries them and there is now a Michelin Latitude Sport available in that size. I would have probably gotten that if it were available when I bought the Pirelli's. The Pirelli's are a HUGE improvement over the OEM Bridgestones though, I have had them since just before Christmas and so far 100% pleased.

For brakes I am running EBC Ultimax Sport slotted rotors with EBC Red Stuff pads. I think if I take the FX again next year I will swap out the Red pads for the Yellow Stuff pads. The Red Stuff pads are perfect for daily street duties but for those collection of roads I would have liked a bit more bite. The Red pads did well there by all means, just a more aggressive pad would have been appreciated.
