Hi Fellows,
Not sure if this theme was discussed previously or not but here is a quick and easy diy on how to upgrade your door step door lights with projector led ones.
The whole process takes around 5 minutes to complete. No drilling is needed, simply replace the whole door light assembly on both front or all 4 doors and enjoy a nice classy accent. Projection looks sharp and really "expensive". Personally I received so many complements from people, so hopefully you guys like it!
Kits where bought on ebay from the US seller (~$35 per 2 doors kit) if anyone is interested here is a link on ebay listing:

Here is a pic of my result:

Yep, it replaces the stock welcome light without loosing the stock welcome lighting with added fanciness

I like it

Tapa on Note III
Looks really good! I was a bit sceptical so I baught only front doors srt, but afterinstallation I placed an order for rear doors. The good feature is that they are not only project logo on ground but also it has 3 led bulbs illuminating all step area.

Is it the same part for the front and rear doors?

How does one remove the door lights? Do they just pop out?

Sent from my SM-G900T

Yeah it simply popups from plastic door cover. Simply insert a flat head screwdriver (I used a pocket knife).
On the driver's side pop-up a RIGHT end of light and on the passenger's side pop-ups from the LEFT end.
To insert them back simply push it as hard as you can if clip will not make a "click" sound, punch it SLIGHTLY with a hand:)

Want to be 100% clear on this before I order. These project the image Bradlex posted above, no circle? These replace the existing light assembly, no wiring mod? The price of the lights in the link to eBay are $49 plus $9 shipping. The price went up?

Sorry for all the questions.

Sounds that way. The ones I bought I had to drill into the door panel and wire them up.

Kind of wish I hadn't done that now that I see these.

Oh well mine were free from a local guy, so I guess I can't complain.

Free is always good. I'd think I'm going to order, hope these look exactly as pictured above.

Thanks,

MC

Ok ok ok..... I'm biting the bullet, taking a chance, rolling the dice, pulling the pin, buying the lottery ticket, draw 3, getting the mystery box...... ordering for front doors, I'll post some pics when I have enough posts.:smile (2):

Thanks for the comments folks,

MC
