Wow, incredible job! I love the mods you've done. Everything looks perfect. I really love the look of the black wheels and vents.

Thank you everyone for the kind words :smile (2):

Very Clean. Have you thought about painting the roof rack a different color?

Yes...but I remember when I had a 2005 FX and the stock roof rails were black...they drove me nuts so I had them removed. Although it would be a production to remove, powder coat and install these roof rails, I haven't quite made up my mind on that yet...I may just remove them all together ?

I'm not 100% sure...I think they just sprayed each piece twice...

I wasn't there when they took them out, but I was there when they put them back in, and yes, they just snapped in place...

It's actually not hard to remove the roof rails on the 2nd Gen, I had mine painted black and I love it. There is a thread on here about removing them. The four corners have covers that pop right off then they are are just bolted on. No inside headliner removal like the 1st Gen. I thought about removing mine all together also, as a matter of fact if there were plugs for the 2nd Gen I still would but there's still no full proof way to cover the big holes removing them leaves. Some have covered it with vinyl but I don't want to take the chance in getting a roof leak. Nice job on everything. I also have my tail lights sprayed but I left the reverse lights clear. I love sprayed tail lights, adds a whole new look to the rear appearance.
