Whining noise

Just wondering if any of you have this with your fx50 a whining noise on cold start up outside temp -15C
car is in park, AC compressor off, can not hear it from the inside cabin only out side last for about 6minutes until car warms up.

Should i be concerned with this issue and get it check out?
 
I don't think it's the belt sounds more like a pump that does not like the cold or a pulley i guess I will wait till the warm weather to see if still makes that noise on cold start up. I remember that my fx45 did not like the cold weather things did not work properly until it would warmed up. I will take a video next time I start her up and upload.

infiniti's hate cold weather I guess just like me.
 
I would just light my car on fire and walk away...
 
It could be drive belt or power steering pump. Make sure power steering fluid is full first, then check drive belts. If it was a pully you will hear the noise all the time, not just when it's cold!
 
where is canada are you? that happens when it's that cold. I changed my belts and it still makes that noise. It's nothing. Once the weather warms up, it goes away.
 
Check your passenger seat for one of these. I get a whining sound, too. :tongue:
