Hi anyone on here running 285 35r22 on there FX50 no spacers no springs bone stock
Rims size 22x10.5 all around.

My question is will I have any rubbing issues?

What's the offset? But it really doesn't matter if you don't lower the car. At stock height, your wheels could stick out a foot and it will never rub.

stick out a foot! are you kidding. the difference between they original 265 to 285 is 1inch right?
The offset is 10.5 all around

He's just saying in general bro but I am running 285/35/22 and my setup is staggered 22x10 in the front and 22x10.5 in the rear and I'm lowered with no issues.

Not really kidding, well sort of, but at stock height there is so much wheel gap you almost can't rub. You'd have to overload the car and bottom out the springs and I think the shocks might bottom out before contact.

OE tire size is 265/45/21 so that's 30.38" tall. 285/35/22 is 29.8" tall so you have an additional .29" of clearance height wise. What's the offset, you keep giving the wheel width. Width is only part of the equation, offset determines how far out or in your wheel sit which will determine whether or not you'll rub. Again, moot point here. But it will determine how good the wheels look.

Thank you Shadow for the response, I would like to lower but what about camber let me know what setup you would recommend.

There is no camber fix and prob never will be. I'm running H&R springs and my tires do show some inner tire wear. The drop is very minor on springs and I want to go lower so I'm going to instal BC coilovers soon and just deal with the camber, sucks but oh well

Why OH Why do they do this to us they make springs but no camber kit also for such a little drop you would think that they fx would have some adjustment.

how does your ride feel with H&R's and 35 tires?

Ride is pretty good with the H&R's and 35's. No complaints here, just not low enough. People who don't know much about the FX and see mine don't even know it's lowered lol

What tires would you recommend make model? I bought the Niche Milan134 dark tint 22x10.5 just trying to figure out the best bang for my buck for tires.

Just bought the H&R Springs online. now just need tires and the snow to melt to put on the new shoes:)

I have the yokohama parada spec x and love them. Very quiet and ride nice. A lot of members have them on here. Also another good tire which a lot of members have here as well are the Hankook Ventus. Both have the best reviews.

Just flip the tires about every 7500 miles. That way inside and outside wear evenly. That is what I plan to do next set. I'm on coil overs.

You can't flip on most tires, the nitto's that you have you can though because they are non directional and horrible tires as well. Ask Andy lol

Yes, you dismount the tire from the right sides. Then install on left. Don't matter if directional or not

Maybe someone else can chime in on this but from what I know that's incorrect. But I may be wrong

If the tires have too much camber wear, I know Discount Tire will not mount them back on though. I forgot the spec. I had them dismount a set of tires, they told me they will not mount those tires back on. I forgot what the wear was, but they measured and told me that. But from my visual inspection, those tires can easily last me the summer season. I don't trust other no name tire shop with my wheels.

Alright. Say your directional tire is on the right rear, running negative camber on the inside. Dismount the tire and move it to the left side keeping the worn camber now to the outside. Problem solved.

Yes. Very true, would need to flip before "too" much wear on insides.

I've flipped tires before. Directional doesn't matter, they will rotate in same direction. Only tires you can't flip are side specific ones like the Nitto Invo I have on my BMW. They have grooves that are specific to left/right. Most independent tire shops will flip anything, larger chains may not.
