Everything with my fx keyless entry works except for the button on the outside handle on my drivers door. Does anyone know of a common problem for just this one button? My key fob,interior lock/unlock,passenger door outside handle button and trunk button all work. The problem was intermittent and then just stopped working all together.
 
Does the button depress at all? You might have to inspect that piece to see if the contacts are still intact.

Have you replicated this when parked in different places? I run into this issue when leaving my garage spot at my house. It NEVER happens anywhere else. I attribute it to some sort of interference near my parking spot.
 
If the other exterior buttons work but just not the driver's side one, then I'd say its not an interference issue.

Thank You all. I think that it is just the button on the handle. If I keep pressing it, it will work once and then stop. I took it all apart and noticed that the rubber looks dry rotted and has some cracks. I will replace the handle and see if that does it.

Did your fix attempt work? My FX is having the exact issue as yours where the passenger door will open by pressing the button on the handle but the button on the driver's door seems dead.

Well you can take apart the door panel and the handle and check for a pinched or grounded part of the wire.
