here's some update on the car.
for a 4 year old car, the calipers were looking old and rusty so i bought G2 caliper paint in silver and painted them..
got rid of the 2500k nokya fog bulbs and replaced them with morimoto 5000k HIDs.
also vinyl overlay tint on the taillights, 3rd brake light, and the bumper reflectors.
debadged "fx35" and plastidipped chromes on the rear

the tints are not that dark in person. it's more like a dark cherry

Looks nice. Did you do the taillight yourself? Was it hard to do? Which vinyl did you use?

i bought the vinyl from bluebatmobile and i was able to do the inner part of the taillight and the bumper reflectors. I messed up on the side taillight because of the protruding edge so I ended going to a shop that uses the same vinyl and they did it for me.

I'd recommend them if you want to get it done, me and DJE44 had our taillights smoked by them. shop called Smokin Moe's in Langhorne

sorry to get back so late.
there's a plastic side molding that attaches to the lip on each side, just have to take those off. The lip stays on the bumper and had to take the bumper off.
leave the bumper plastic underguard on and the bumper will just leave hanging. but make sure to lay a towel or something soft so it doesn't scratch the front lip

i just picked these 21s for cheap! it was a steal!!!!
now it's on it's way being powdercoated gloss black

Damn....when I had first installed my fogs, it was through the plastic underguard. So Im assuming the lip covers those bolts and Id have to take the lip off to access? Didnt really want to drop the bumper.

I also have a 2011 FX35 AWD. My calipers look exactly like your before pics. What gives? My car only has like 32K miles on it too.

I might as well go ahead and paint the calipers as well. Silver like you chose. I think I have enough space between the 20" rims so I dont have to take off.
