Back in the shop... Getting some sideskirts and a rear valance.

Did you consider to delete the reflectors in the bumper and use the 2nd Gen reflectors in the added piece? Wondering if that would give you the cleaner lines? Just a thought.
It is looking really good so far.

Can't they plastic weld something for the reflectors? I've had bumpers molded and stuff shaved in the past and I never had an issue with cracking. My wife's old Integra had fully molded side skirts, rear bumper, and 3 piece wing and none of it ever cracked even though it was a daily. My old Maxima had shaved antenna, keyholes, and some other stuff and it never cracked. If they use stuff with similar expansion rates, it shouldn't crack. I even had an Audi TT fuel door molded in and functional. As long as there isn't too much body filler, it should be ok.

Shaving the reflectors should not be all that difficult. Not any more so than all the other insane stuff they are doing. Now would be the time to get it done...

Damn, its almost ready to go into paint and i have a car show Sunday. I can miss the show and pay more money to shave the reflectors or keep it as is. That's a tough one, the reflectors doesn't bother me much but it would look clean without it.

Decisions, decisions, and we aren't helping ;).
I'm thinking of getting those reflectors too and cover half of the current reflector opening to fit those.

I shaved off my reflectors and it looks so much cleaner and we have red reflectors in the sport tails so thats why I did it

^ not safe IMO. There are no rear reflectors besides those.

What we meant is to shave the original ones from the OEM bumper since the 2gen valance piece has openings for the reflectors.

You mean the side marker lights? Yeah but those are not true rear reflectors.

2 weeks and its done. The side skirts i love, the rear was harder then expected and we had a slight communication problem. Diffuser section was on point but the sides of the bumper he made it more OEM looking because he was trying to keep that 1" fender trim going. I told him i wanted it chopped off and the side of the bumper to look straight like a body kit. There's also a screw in the bumper that i was pretty upset about. Need to take it back and figure out what we're gonna do. The left side of the diffuser droops down because we didn't have time to make a bracket holding it up. Gonna fix that soon and straighten out my exhaust tips.

Sorry for the bad pics, it was raining this morning before i went to work. Also hard to see the body kit because my car is black. Soon to wrap it satin white pearl.

Look at those trophies!! :congrats:Rear bumper and side skirts came out really good!

Thanks man, The FX took home best I.C.E. and Audi took home Best Euro.
I think they kicked me out of the Truck/SUV class because i already had Best I.C.E. and i think they didn't give my Rhino a class because it was too odd. Either was it was fun to have at the show. Party Wagon.

Thats awesome dude...

Seriously looks good. You also have a nice opportunity in the middle section to add a JDM rear fog light.

Thanks man.
These came in today for the diffuser. Since the reflectors on the bumper doesn't' light up i'll make sure these stay on.
I though about doing an F1 style light in the center but didn't know if i'd have enough clearance since i still use my tow hitch.

i see what you mean about the read bumper sides... def need to extend them out a bit to help with the flow of the "skirt". otherwise it came out a lot better than I was expecting. (although the rear diffuser looks a bit lopsided)
