Hey guys, I've been making a couple of phonecalls this afternoon to find out some more information about wrapping either my 911 or my wife's FX35, or both! One place called Exclusive Vinyl in Queens, NY told me to check out their instagram to see some of their work. And this happened to be on there. Is this anyone here? Looks like they do phenomenal work. Very impressed. I will probably be stopping by their shop for some more info and for samples.

Are you keeping the Porsche now Chris?

edit I just read your other thread, I see you decided to keep the Porsche and eat lots of Ramen, sounds like a plan.

Why would you wrap the fx?? Don't wrap it bro, the iridium color is amazing. Regarding the Porsche, I would def do it.

You can't wrap the FX that colour is absolutely stunning.

I on the other hand may very well wrap my FX. Cause my paint is all sorts of fucked up.
 
^^HAHAHA Ya I know what you mean, depending on how well we wrap my dad's cayenne we will probably do my fx next.

I am thinking of buying the wrap myself, and wrapping the easy portions, then giving the rest to a shop to do. Should save some money, and it could be fun... Then I can also get some practice at it, and if any part starts to peel or w/e down the road I can fix it myself.

For the record I am going off the basis that, the 4 doors, hood, and roof are pretty easy. I mean it will be some work pulling off the handles and the roof racks to do it all correctly, but that is just labour, it is not particularly difficult stuff.
 
Ya luckily my dad works in the sign industry and has been working with vinyl for a long time so it shouldn't be too hard for us to tackle.

His is dropped, has vossens, and a bbk so you should take that into consideration also if your trying to go for that look. I dont think a normal stance fx wrapped would look right to be honest and why wrap the blue? It looks sick already

I do agree with some of the others. Your FX is already a rarer and awesome color. It looks fantastic in the Iridium Blue.
Do your 911.

Seriously though is this yellow FX not a member here? It may not be the colour I have chosen, but the car is still really sick...
