Dot 4 for spirited driving

ATE Super Blue or Type 200 (gold)

This appears to be accurate. Just get the type 200. It's the same formulation but different color.

I used to buy mine from Amazon. Wow, when is color of a fluid/product being regulated. That's just some crazy regulation.

The blue is really nice when changing out brake fluid to know when it's clean. It's a shame.

I've used Valvoline synthetic before, I'm using ATE Superblue now. Both are fine and there wasn't really any difference and there shouldn't be since both are high quality. If you're just street driving, there won't be much advantage to ATE. If you plan to go to track days or something, the ATE would be a better bet. From my understanding, the blue color is just to help with fluid changes so you know when you've flushed your system. The non blue fluid is equivalent in performance. It is pretty cool to see blue fluid coming out of the bleeder letting you know you're done though.

I used ATE superblue too. I think the blue color would also help in the quick ID of fluids when you have leaks. Green for coolant, blue for brake fluid, dark for engine oil, etc
