Paul Walker (RIP 11/30/13)

RIP Paul Walker...Great actor whose Fast N Furious movies not only inspired myself but I'm sure many on this forum as well.
Thanks for your influence...so sad to die so young. This guy also did a lot of charity work and just seemed like a real decent
human being. Such a tragedy.....

I've been wondering why they are blaming PS fluid. It's not hard to drive a car with no PS fluid, or power steering, unless you are going extremely slow/not moving. Now maybe it spilled on the tires or on the windshield and they couldn't see, but that would hard to find out.

I would hope that Porsche didn't design a car that locks the steering when it runs out of fluid, as opposed to just losing power steering.

From what I heard in the media is that this car has a front mounted fuel tank and no matter what speed you hit the fuel tank it explodes. So they were already gone when it exploded...if it didn't, i'm sure we'd see them today...

In terms of the movie, well they have about 80% of it filmed and one of the scenes is where they're all at a funeral and talking about who's going to die next....hope this wasn't more than just a perfect coincidence...

They also have FnF 8 as the next one but...i'm not sure how well that will sell with Paul being gone...

Hey guys, I was at a big Paul Walker Charity event at ISP Racing in Maryland and came across a guy who had a blue skyline GT-R R34. Same car used in Fast & Furious, where Brian (RIP) is seen driving a blue Skyline in the race with Dominic Toretto. This car was also used to get across the border to get into Mexico. Here is the link of the Video I posted on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UptMWRrVK1M, please have a napkin ready..:smug:

PnB, on scene

I really don't follow this much, but it seems to have been on the local news daily. Here are some of my pictures and observations from the last couple weeks.

The above pictures were from the week after the accident. Not a ton of people since mid-day and mid-week. Aside from flowers and candles, all kinds of mementos were left behind - pictures, signs, toy cars, beers, random car parts, steering wheel, carburetor, NOS bottle.
The city saw much of the traffic and debris as a potential hazard. They seem to have done a good job monitoring, controlling, and cleaning up. Part of the concern was for the abundance of plants and flowers that were left which would decay and become a health hazard. The pictures below are from a couple days ago and 11 or 12 days after the crash. The sidewalk was cleared and new treasures began to accumulate with the dwindling crowds. Without the decreased activity, it is now apparent to see the marked skid marks leading to the curb. The guys from R1 Concepts made a trip up for a picture meet and left a 'memory rotor' in their honor.
