That's the same thing I did and when I do it over I'm going to keep the rims on.

Why would you leave the rims on, you would think you could do a much better job if you remove the wheels fron the car.
 
I watched a video about vintage gold colored from www.dipyourcar.com and the guy on the video talked about leaving the rim on bc when you normally dip your rim you are really just doing the face of the rim . I just personally think that by taking the trim off and then putting it back on by accident you can end up peeling the dip off when putting on the lug nuts.

so i did the rear hatch trip and door handles (and roof racks and grill) admittedly the rear hatch trim does not look great, but looks better than chrome (IMO) and matches the other pieces well
 
I put 5 coats of anthracite per wheel, and 2 coats of glossifier. I like the look of change for a little while

Nice, but what happened to your 22's.
Sold them.
We use this car as the travel car, to ATL airport, home office to Charlotte and back. 22's not a good ride on the highway, plus let's face it ....tires on the 20's much cheaper when running coilovers.
