Hi there,
Has anyone tried these 2 cilinder calipers to fit into a (one cilinder caliper) 2005 FX.
It seems that the mounting holes resemble however the caliper itself is much bigger.

I doubt you would feel any improvement. I have driven 03, 05, 07, & 08. Honestly, I didn't feel there any braking differences/improvements.

I have an '07, so I already have the 2 piston calipers. But they are the same mounting points. I am actually upgrading the to FX50 calipers right now and those use the same mounting points.

I believe the only difference you may see by going to the 2 piston calipers is improved fade resistance. The stopping distances between the years is roughly the same so I don't think there's much improvement on performance.

Are you keeping the stock rotors and just changing the calipers to FX50 ones?

No, the FX50 rotors are much bigger, but those mount up directly as well. So basically the mounting points between the 03-05, 06-08, and 09+ are the same. But you need to match the calipers to the rotors.

If upgrading to dual oem floating calipers, will require new pads and rotors as well.
