Hey guys, just picked up a 2007 FX35 with 45k miles. Black on wheat, all options with the 20" wheels. Pic is terrible, I know, but that's all I've got for now and I'm pretty sure you guys know what it looks like...... So far I love the car, but one thing has been bothering me a lot - there's that nice brushed nickel look on the wheels and roof rack, then there's a TON of the chrome trim. It doesn't match, I hate that!! So I'm thinking that I'll get ALL the trim painted one color, maybe a dark grey or something. My question is, how much do you think that would cost?? I know that PlatiDip is popular and I can see why, I just don't like the idea of having to touch it up.
 
You can wrap the chrome trime titanium brushed, it's the closest to the roof rails. Not exact, but pretty close. You can't wrap the wheels (or at least it won't hold up at all). As you already know, do not plastidip, it's popular because it's cheap and reversible, not because it's good.

Thanks, I'm in Indianapolis. Will be needing the AWD here in a few months, hoping the FX is ok in the snow.

Are you talking about the 3M brand "brushed titanium" wrapping or another brand ??

I did the back.....that is i lett a company do it. The letters will be fine depending how anal you'll be cause the sharpest edges will not always be that great. but you have to be on it with your nose to see it.
 
Congratulations on the new ride and welcome! Nice score on a low miles 07 FX. Start that mod list now. :-)

The kit is sick but the onlyyy little thing I would do is fill in those reflectors. I think it would look so much cleaner in the back.
