Wow the interior and exterior look mint.
How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking?
Yeah, the interior is pretty amazing. The outer edges of the seats have some typical wear (expected). The owner pretty much never had anyone in the back. Spotless.
I've had my eye on an FX35 for probably 2-3 years, but was never fully committed (or in the right position) to buy one. My wife REALLY wanted me to get one (practical, etc). I have my '91 Twin Turbo (with less miles than this car) so, tough for me to move on. We looked at a black with beige/black interior the day before. Pics were poor, so I couldn't tell the shape it was in (independent dealer). They wanted near $13K -- it was in pretty good shape, but the driver must've been a pretty big dude (driver side seat was pretty messed up, and padding heavily compressed). Ran well, but did have a lag on downshift I was a bit concerned about. All sorts of dents and dings here and there (headlamps cloudy, rear bumper spider cracks all over), but nothing severe, either. Got home and saw this one in the area, though I had seen it before. Had been up for 2 weeks. I was a bit scared of buying first year (2003) since my 2004 Quest has had a bunch of annoying issues that were resolved in later models. But the reliability rating on the 2003 FX is so good I changed my bias.
So, we went to see this one the next day. Pics in ad made it look pretty clean, and it was shockingly as clean in person.
Owner was asking $10,700. We agreed at $9,500. (then tax and reg, obviously, on my side)
IMO, based on the upgrades this one had over the previous and the condition, etc -- it was about a $6K swing (or more, considering painting the other car to match would've been crazy expensive and NEVER as good). Got pre-approved for a great financing rate and just 100% excited and happy about EVERYTHING, including the previous owner who was really cool and good to work with. The loan agent at the bank went out to look at the car and exclaimed, "This is a 2003????" Nobody can believe it. And it drives as well as it looks. Too good to be true
Anyway -- more pics coming. Gotta wash it after running through a stretch of highway infested with bugs.

So used to seeing the cf wrap forgot what the original aluminum looked like. Looks good congrats
I love brushed alum -- everything about this car I'm excited about. The fact he got the wheels replaced with the non-chrome was huge for me. They're amazing
