Cracks in bezel

Hey all - I am wondering if anyone has experienced this phenomenon. See photos.

I already had the bubbled dash replacement. Just wondering if this is a sign of age. It's an 04. I don't do a lot of taking it on and off so I know it's not stress related.

Any thoughts.

Probably was damaged during the dash replacement.

Zebra, the dash was replaced in '09 shortly after I purchased it. These just started showing in the last couple of weeks. We have been experience 100+ days recently here an Southern and the FX has been parked outside.

Sometimes the high heat cycles just deteriorate plastic faster. It's a 9 year old car and you live in AZ.

I hear ya shadow, just very unfortunate!!! Might have to look into a replacement.

mine is cracked like that, i blame mine due to houston weather. sucks thoo

Yeah, it's pretty bad down there too. Humidity is a beast. AZ is dry, still hot though!

That's from heat. A sunscreen in your windshield will help prevent (or delay) future damage.
I have a small crack on my original dash.

P&B, I got one. the wife just doesn't put it up so it sits in the sun. I showed it to her. Hopefully she gets the importance of doing it. I am looking into picking up another from Infiniti Parts at some point soon. That's an unacceptable look in my book.

Or you can tint your front windows.
