q5
As many of you know i had a knocking engine .... After series of thought after thoughts i decided to trade it in.

05 45 with 79k miles

Trade in value appraisal was given 6-8k.

Wanted to get another fx but didnt work out.

Major contribution on getting the Q5 was its mpg 20-28. Ive been driving alot lately and spen almost 5-600 on gas alone per month.

And i kinda like the design of the q5 !! Of course not as much as my FX but.... Well i am picking up my Q5 next week.
Black on black with nav pano/roof keyless entry, Bang olufsen 13 spkr and some more options.

I still love the fx but very excited about the q5. I love this forum so ill be lirking around and will update some pphoto of my new ride. Any comments and opinions and advice are all welcome !!!!!
Thx guys!!!

Nice pick up, I really like the Q5 and Q7. What color?
I know you were between a rock and a hard place with your knocking engine in your 45. Glad you no longer have to worry about it.
Post pics of your new Q when you get it.

Yup thx guys it way awful that my beautiful fx had a knock !!!!

Really if it were easy to find an engine or rebuild for the 45 i woulda seriously done it but there really were nothing oit there sadly......

Not to mention my love for the Scene the greatest site.... Really wanted to keep it in the familu but the Ex wasnt just cutting it for me ^^ no offense....

From a 4.5L to a 2.0L, that'll def cap the cost of gas. Good luck and we expect you in the local nyc meets.

Nice. We were considering one when shipping for a commuter for my wife a while back. It's a practical SUV yet it has its own character

Congrats. Don't forget to get an extended warranty for the Audi.

Thx all guys
Im actually buying new this time
2013 i been having bad luck with my previous preowned rides including a murano jist before the FX.
So i decided to go with new this time.

I will be joining Local meets with Bigturks S4 as a commemorative ISmember!!!!!
Lol

Sweet, and keep posting on IS, we love to hear about your new Audi experience.

Hahahah
Yea was looking into the S-line but hahah
Pocket was way too short TT

Not too much mod options for the Q5 either .... Maybe lowering hnr springs
But for now i will keep it stock for couple month

The only mod u should be looking at is a ecu reflash on a 2.0L, its a serious upgrade that will make up for the 4.5 v8 ur giving up. I don't know how heavy a q5 really is but in a GTi with a ecu flash you can run with fx45 on a lot of levels.

If they make up/down pipes get those as well. Sure they don't make a nice tone like a VQ or VK but the power increase is pretty nice from it.

Yes i was looking in to APR ecu and maybe a intake and lowering spring for the mod .....

Would any intake for the a4 fit the Q as well?

Nice choice on the ride man. Audis are really catching my eye lately. I have 6 months left to pay on the fx then ill be peeking around the audis. ;-)
