Possibly wrong odometer reading?

I started to suspect my odometer a while ago as I always felt that it is underestimating the distance driven, but I never tried to confirm, lately however I got the time to do so, so I compared the odometer reading to the trip reading in the navigation screen, and here is the findings:

Over a period of 5 days, the navigation screen reads 704 km, while for exactly the same period the odometer measured 144 km (90 miles), I did some manual calculations using google maps (roughly measuring the baths I took in these 5 days) and the result was much closer to the navigation screen.

Does anyone noticed this before? Any thoughts will be appreciated.

That's got to be a typo. If your navi's getting 744 and your odometer is getting 144, then something is screwed in your odometer. There is a recall on some odometers for mild variations but I'm not sure if the 04 was affected.
 
Man I am freaking out, my car has always got to have a problem of some kind, I am repeating the comparison again assuming that I did it wrong.

There's a separate Trip1 and Trip2 in the Nav screen. (At least with the Tech Package). It shows distance, hours, and I think something else. I use #1 to record annual miles, and I reset #2 at every oil change.
