Wheels on a budget

Buy Andy's(la_fx35) wheels posted above^. Very high quality wheels. And he is semi local, so you can pick them up at the next meet:)

10.5 +25 in back and it rubs some at my ride height. 9" +25 in front and it rubs some. Pretty flush, if pushed out another 1/2" the fenders would sit on the tire on both front and rear.

Sometime in summer, I'd like to get a 22x10 and 22x12 setup. It looks doable w/ slightly smaller tires and a little more camber.

And OP, does $2K include tires? W/O tires, lots of wheels in that price range.

Could I get some QUALITY wheels for around $2000? Any brands that stand out for quality and appearance? I really want to do this right!

You should get his wheels. All ready to go and mounted with tires already. And its not too bad of a drive down towards Chicago to do it, we can setup a meet and BBQ too! :good:

Hey Joel, my plan to put the wheels to good use was scrapped as of last night. I'll pm you later tonight. I'm apologize for all the confusion.

I'm on the Andy train. His wheels are as legit as they come, tire rack sells them for over a grand a piece. True high quality 3 piece forged.

Plus classic and timeless styling.

So, if I run Andy's 22" wheels in the summer, will I be able to go back to my stock 18"s for winter? Will I need to get an alignment each time I switch, or is that just for when I put the lowering springs on? Last question..... What size spacers should I get for the above listed wheels? I want that flush look everyone seems to be after.

Of course you can use the 18" for winter. Technically, you don't need an alignment by switching wheels. When you lowered, you definitely need alignment check out more then usual. The $169 Lifetime Alignment deal from Firestone is a great buy. I usually get mine align twice a year when I switch out wheels.

Used 25mm spacer and your ride will look exactly like my picture above. :smile (2):

Thanks Ian, Joel had me put his name on the wheels already :smile (2): He's planning to come join us on the April 21st if schedule permits.
