Hey guys, so i finally got to install my v1 that i got a week ago. I bought it with the new V1 savvy. Heres my install pictures. Connected the savvy through obd port. At first i was getting allot of false alarms, every time i passed 7/11. Then i disabled the K band and X band which cops dont use in California, now its all good. Especially with savvy no more false alarms and love it.

Pretty cool setup, but I'm not familiar with this Savvy. All you need is the Blendmount now to really complete the install and look. :good:

Just looked up Savvy. Interesting module. I like that it cleans up the wires a little bit and supplies power directly.

I'm wondering why you didn't tap the mirror for power?

No need to tap into the mirror for power as the wire from the savvy module supplies power dirextly from the OBDII port. At least that is what I think I got from the website.

pretty much, plus the benefits you get from savvy

Congrats! The best radar detector I've ever owned. Probably will switch from 9500ix this summer, since it's useless:rotfl:

Nice install and great radar detector. I have the savvy and use it in my C63.I have the mirror tap for the FX. Both work great and it's easy to swap from car to car. Has definitely saved us a bunch of times over the years!

Nice install.
V1 is a good box. Have fun with the arrows

I just had my dash changed out, but now my silencer module on my x50 is not working. I think someone forgot to hook it back up :bad:

Thanks guys, next on my mod list would be laser interceptor best laser jammer on the market. Around $750 but worth it. Especially when my only tickets have been on a lidar not a radar. CHPatrol uses mostly lidar in LA

so is tint on the front windows and windshield If you have 3 or less jammers its a fixn ticket, if you have 4 its impound. Still ill have time to shut the laser off when he/she try to aim again my speed will be lowered and legal.

Hmmm interesting, didn't know that. How much are the tickets usually and how would they know if you have a jammer or not?

Under $50 and chp sign off just like a modified exhaust ticket. Its not for everyone, you got to be quick. Also i wouldnt turn it on all time, ony safe spirited driving.

Some cops have a radar detector detector which detects if you have a radar detector. Also when you have a jammer it shows on their thing 0 or error and from there its pretty obvious somethings going on.
