Upcoming Porsche Macan-Baddest CUV on Earth?

So Porsche has a new "mini-Cayenne" of sorts coming later this year, the Macan. It is said to have a few trim levels/ engine options including a twin turbo six putting out around 390 HP. Depending on what it'll weigh, the thing should fly. It shares the platform with the good looking but mundane Audi Q5. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a "turbo S" version at some point with 450+ HP. Infiniti will need to revamp the FX50 and use the Nissan GT-R drive train to smack this Porsche back down the pecking order.

Thoughts?

Just read a review on the Turbo Macan and it comes with staggered 21" wheels.
i wonder if we have a new option for 21" rubber......or the Macan rides on Dunlops too ?

No, it rides on the new Michelin Latitude Sport 3, probably the best new suv summer tires.

I'm still an Infiniti lover....tho I do like the Macan A LOT and it's a great ride. All y'all don't turn so quickly. If Infiniti puts the GT-R engine in the next gen FX/QX...and
I guarantee it will look better than the Porsche....look out!! I'm holding onto the idea that Infiniti has something up their sleeves...we will see

AND don't forget that Infiniti created the Crossover/SUV market with the 1st Gen (which still looks hot 10 yrs later) and they can do it again.

This tread started in 2013 and a lot of people didn't have (or haven't had) high hopes and reviews for the Macan. In 2014, this thread linked here gets much better thoughts.
