Goldilocks :: 2004 Infinti FX35

Finished up my key and its badge today. I really need a better camera. This one makes it look all rough around the edges.

Did you get these at the dealer or did you order from another source, how much for all 4?

Sent from my iPhone

The rims & centre caps both came from Hyatt Infiniti here in Calgary. The caps are off of one of the JX packages. They are chromed plastic with clear plastidip. Price wise, the parts Manager Vince at Hyatt Infiniti here threw them in with the rims, not sure what they would cost to purchase separately.

Edit: Quick eBay search shows them anywhere from $20-$60. Not sure on Infiniti's cost.

Finally got my Oil Catch Can and Grounding Kit installed. Both are from NRG. Also replaced my radiator cap. Overall I am pretty happy with all three.

These parts were all ordered over a month ago and just arrived in the last week. This city's infrastructure is so dysfunctional right now.

I have the Mishimoto OCC laying in my storage for 6 month already. The most popular location I've seen so far is on the passenger side

Looking good. Did you install the lower grill recently?

Yeah, just got it on a few days ago. Same time I put in the redone grille. I was getting a lot of stuff going into the bumper from the road. Wanted the space closed down. I was going to just mesh it over, but I saw some of you guys with the billet lowers and liked the look. I think it works out. Mine, however, is not fancy vinyl like some people we all know. :rotfl:

Did you paint it:smile (2):? Blacked out headlight housing will look good on your ride IMO.

I definitely agree with you guys, I have wanted to paint the housing for a while now. It had been on my summer list of Mods, but the flood relocated the vehicle. I am currently parking in a flooded out garage in another district and walking home each day. Works out to about 7+ blocks or so. There is no oven/electricity at the site either. You can see the missing drywall in my pictures. So I don't know how I could pull it off right now, since I would need to open them at home, carry them somewhere to paint (can't in my apartment), and then bring them back to the apartment, seal them, and then carry them to be re-installed. Thus, I conclude, one of you should do it for me!:smug:

And, yes, Zebra, I did paint the lower in Matte to match the upper. Up close they both have the same satin look, perfect match. I installed it silver originally and it just was not doing anything for me.
