jdTrader's FX50S :: 2009 Infiniti FX50S

Looks great Jonas! Would you mind putting up the specs and what was needed for the install. How much did it run?

And let's see her do her thing.

Jonas, looking real nice. Very detailed work. I like the fact that they allow access to the backseat back release lever. :tup:

I will attempt to play with fiberglass. I don't feel like paying $200+ for a wicked sub box.

Just got around to taking some pics of what it looks like beneath. Notice the amp and cap come off as one unit top half secured tight with velcro but comes off to get to spare easy and the bottom is secured with one bolt that comes off easy.Bass hits very hard if you want it too. The cap prevents any lights from dimming or strain at all even at max.Amp is digital for least amount of heat build up, but these amps are stackable and meant to run less hot than most other amps. Plus has a thermal controller so if it does get too hot, then the bass keeps going and protects but at less output until it cools then returns unlike some other amps that just cut when they get hot.I think I'm ditching my plans and heading to Chicago for Humberto weekend so you'll be able to hear it.When the bass is up, all 4 seats get a massage. I'm completely perplexed that I hear absolutely no rattle from outside the car. With windows up, trunk etc vibrate a lot, but no noise rattle and you wouldn't think from the outside that bass was done to the car. With the mustang, you'd hear 10 things rattling from 1 block away. The FX must be sealed really good.Bad: fiberglass box STINKS like glue and I think I was high from it yesterday. Took the box out overnight. Install guys said it will be a week or two.b6655a93.jpg40a9a2e8.jpg

Nice install Jonas. It would be awesome if you can come hang with us on Aug 21st. I'm sure your Chicago FX buddies would love to hear your system out.
Too bad, you're in MI, if you around here, I would let you use this fresh air machine that spit out ozone ions and it takes out any kind of smell in a few hours.

Here is the tint I did last weekend. 18% fronts and 45% on windshield. You can see out of the car easily from the inside even when it's dark outside.

I'm pretty sure I know what you guys are thinking....... :laugh:

Looks perfect Jonas.. The combo you ended up with came out nice .. Glad you went through with it. :tup:
Makes me want to get mine done... but that $250 ticket would suck big time.
