haha thanks! Yeah, the FX definitely has a strong presence. Actually, everyone there was impressed with the FX, a few really wanting to get one eventually. Others didn't know about all the cool stuff about the car...what the vents are functional? What self healing paint? What that many cameras? 12 point sequence welcome lighting what? What What What? hehe

It's amazing how nice the FXs come stock. I'm still getting used to it, but I know after maybe a little longer I'll start modding. I don't want to just jump in quick when I'm brand new to a FX. I want to find out first what works, what doesn't, get extremely comfortable with it and know how it acts in various environments so that when I do start modding here or there I can realize the changes more accurately. :smile (2):

ha, love the plate man :)

Thanks! When we left the meet, the red heavily modded in the end corner 350Z got on the expressway and got pulled over for going 92....I guess he wanted to show he isn't very slow. Sucks how cops can just ruin a good night for anybody...

Looks like a decent size meet... Hey, what's the mitsu doing there .. How did you like your first meet?

It was definitely fun. Nice fun group of guys. There was a Lexus there too but he decided to park across from us so he didn't get in any of the shots. I was hoping we would go cruising, but it was cold and some bailed early cause it was a Tuesday night.

I was surprised how little everyone knew about the FX even though everyone liked it, but I guess I can understand why. They are having more meets, BBQ, install days, cruise to North Carolina for zdayz in the near future while also trying to get more members involved from Michigan so it should just get bigger and bigger and hopefully in the process will get some FXs to come out from wherever they are around here!

It looks like I will most likely be meeting Wayne for the meet in Toronto and Kim my wife will probably be tagging along too so really looking forward to that. I'm still visiting my parents about once a month in Chicago so if it happens to fall on a meet day, then we may have a few with you this year too! The z guys said they will probably do a z meet with a big z group in Bloomington IL I think it was, so maybe a bunch of FXs and Zs would meet up there sometime in 2011. That would make for some good pictures!

Your FX looks like a high rider next to all the other cars. Time for a drop?

Yeah one of them asked why I haven't dropped mine yet and I told them that the 2nd Gen springs just recently came out plus the eibachs haven't had the best rep with the 1st gens. Plus I haven't really figured out what issues there might arise with the FX50 suspension, etc. I saw Wayne's drop and to me I would want it dropped even more so I'm not sure yet. I'll probably need the summer to think about it, study and listen more before I make my move.

Coilovers would give you adjustable height and you would be able to drop it more.

Why have a lot of the 2nd Gen guys gone for the eibach springs then? Wayne, Hollywood, and I know a few others... Especially if you don't get that option of adjustment and also if the eibach springs have had a bad rep?
