FX50 reliability

hey guys,

I'm a current owner of an '03 FX35 with about 218k on the clock. It might be time to start looking for something newer and as much as i'd like something with a little off road ability, I'm not sure I'm ready to let go of Infiniti reliability. I've been faced with this conundrum for about a year now, but i think it's really time to start making a decision.

Anyway, I just was wondering if any of you have had any reliability issues with the 50 and if you had any advice for me(like if looking back you would've picked something over your 50). Any help is very much appreciated. Also, I tried searching around, but if i missed a thread, feel free to send it to me; I don't need to rehash a subject that's already been covered.
 
No reliability issues with the FX50. Only thing to watch out for is the peeling wood trim on the doors. Infiniti extended the warranty on them so no need to worry.

oh and make sure all the transmission software is up to date. There are a few TSB's out to update software.

other than that no worries bro!

awesome news guys. I have a feeling I'll be getting kicked off of here soon because some uptight, passive aggressive moderator didn't like that i posted the same issue in two places, but whatever. Most people on here have been awesome and i appreciate your input and quick responses.
 
Trying to keep this forum organized so members can search for answers easier is passive aggressive? I guess so.
