Bubbles on the dash of a FX35

This forum has been invaluable for me. Saw a post here regarding the bubbling dash on 03-08 FX's.
I thought it might have been caused from a cleaning agent I had used to clean the inside of the windshield. Couldn't have imagined what else
would have caused this to happen. Only use vinegar and water to clean windshield, but didn't know what else to blame it on.
Took mine to the dealership and they took care of the problem immediately.
It was explained that the problem was with the glue used to adhere the dash material. Apparently, it had a defect that was effected by
the humidity and heat especially in the regions of Texas and Florida.
The dealership didn't flinch in replacing the dash.

So I have an 06 and I don't have bubbles, not sure if the dash was replaced before, or should I be careful of humidity? How long does Infiniti take care of dash bubbling?

for one, my dash was fine, and then literally, in the span of couple hours i saw 5!!!! cracks all over... not saying its going to happen, you just can't really predict something like that... my FX is '03 and I got the dash replaced last year, so I think it will really depend on the dealership

I have one more month of warranty. Original dash, no bubbles or crack. Looks like I wont be using the recall. Not sure yet if that's good or bad

I recently got mine replaced too. It only takes 1 or 2 bubbles for the dealership to act on it. I probably had like 10 bubbles. Good experience and they give you a loaner car. I made an appointment a week in advance and they still waited for me to bring the car in before they ordered the parts. I had a loaner car for three days while they installed the dash due to waiting for the parts to come in.

Quick tip about it...if you do get it done, check all your buttons on the dash before leaving. I did not realize until a couple days later that they forgot to plug in my mirror adjustment control. Had to bring it back for them to do a quick fix.

To be honest it all depends on the dealership. Technically you're out of the extended warranty program. Best you can do is talk to them, hopefully you have more than 1 dealership around and take it from there.

There is a link on post #11 that takes you to the official document/letter from Infiniti regarding the recall.

What dealer and where are you in Tx? We have same problem in wife's car. I Houston. Thanks!

I don't think he went to a dealer in Houston. He just moved here in the summer.
I live in Houston, but have never had this replacement done. Try Southwest Infiniti.
