AWD light flashing

AWD is indeed working and I know that for a fact.
It seems that this started after I had a flat at walmart and had to get a new tire.

I just have no clue what could be causing the flashing.
It doesn't appear until I get above 30 or so..

Possibly one of the ABS sensor is bad. There is one on each of the front knuckle and one in the rear by the differential.

I want to say... Check the tire size on the new tire make sure its the same as the others. There is a tolerance level of tread depth as well. I think its 3/32. So if u have a new tire 11/32 and 3 60% 6/32 tires, then the car thinks tires are mixed, rare but its in the FSM.

When u start the car nothing is blinking right only when u drive a little bit that it starts to blink and doesn't stop till engine is off. If this is so, I'll say tire size is wrong.

I would say the ABS sensor has no play in this because we have a abs/trac/vdc light for that. And that would be on if there is a failure in the system , maybe it would be paired with awd light.

Confirm tire sizes are correct.

Well the ECU was reset as the alternator recently went to shit.
If the battery being dead for two days doesn't reset the ecu, please update me.

Also, I will check the tire sizes in a bit.

Battery being dead might not reset ecu.

Battery might not have enough power to start the car but still have enough to retain power to ecu.

Check the tire size! Its free, cheap and u don't have to get dirty!

They put the wrong sized tire on the car. Caused all the problems.

Thanks man!

:p I was pretty sure this was the problem but not being there in person I couldn't put my money on it just yet. I've had the light blink at me when I learned how to staggered my tire sizing.

Most likely off on the sidewall. A 45 into a 40 or 35.
