New 2014 C7 Corvette

LOVE IT! And for once, a Corvette that doesn't scream "MIDLIFE CRISIS!!!":rotfl:

But just to throw this out there... The new Viper is pretty badass too

haha i love it, hopefully it wont be too expensive to lease a corvette

Very nice redesign. But between a vette and GT-R. I'd still go for the GTR. It has become the new standard to beat performance wise.

Vette is quite a bit cheaper. I would also prefer a GTR, but I would also prefer a Ferrari over a GTR.

Vette starts at 49k. GTR starts at 97k. That's almost double. You can't compare the two. Just $5k in options on a car makes a huge difference. There is something to say about a company making a performance vehicle like this at a more affordable price instead of I don't give a shit and I'm just making a fast car no matter what price. In the video they take about making it affordable was a priority for them as well.

....only $49k?
Isn't the G37s $46k?

The Vette may sound affordable, but how reliable will it be... especially through aggressive driving?

I like it for what it is. It takes some engineering to make a performer at that price. Rowing through 7 gears, yikes!

I'm sure by the time you add all the options like the one pictured, you will pay just as much as you would for a GT-R. Which I would rather have, or for that money a gently used Farrari....

Same here. Also not to mention every other man in a midlife crisis will have one. :p

I like the front and side profile. I don't think I like the rear, it looks more angular than the other parts of the car. It's kind of like it doesn't fit the other shapes on the car.

Agreed. The side is my favorite of this car. But it's not a secret that there is some obvious Ferrari influence in it.

The unveal of this is absolutely incredible. If you watch the whole thing instead of bits and pieces, you'll understand what I mean. Americans still know how to put on a good show. The Q50 unveil was so boring compared to this. I wish Infiniti did more in their unveals like this especially when introducing something like a Q50 that is brand new and that they have been working on for so long. That John Nissan guy during the unveil wasn't even close to as being enthusiastic about it either.
