Fog lights independent from head lights

I was unable to successfully search for this topic with the app so I apologize if its been beat to death.

I noticed some of you have photos of your FX fogs on with the parking lights, but not the headlights. Do I have to have my 2007 FX Vag'd somewhere or is this just a few wires and relay bar bends?
 
Looks like it might not be worth going through the trouble of maybe getting it to work, at least if wiring on your own...which I do feel comfortable doing. Guess it depends on what my level of desirability is. Thanks again

I have no problems with the DIY, it's very well done. But in the pages there seemed to be quite a bit of confusion. I haven't nixed the idea at all, but just am not eager right NOW to mess with it.

The time of year I'm sure plays a large part in my decision being MI lol. And in the spring I'll be focusing my efforts on modding my other vehicle. Make no mistake, the FX will not go plain Jane for too long. Some of your rides are so sick visually I couldn't live with myself if I didn't do at least the basics (lower/wheels/fog mod) . Already knocked out the plate bulbs, front signals and dtrls.
 
Yeah, I know what you mean. This time of the year is too cold to be in the garage too long in MI.

You need an aftermarket module or rewiring to get the fogs on without the headlights.

I will be doing this soon. I have an 07 also. I will take pics of my install and put them up. And if something is different I will note it up.
