These are cell phone pics of a very dirty EX. SLR pics post-wash coming soon. Got the other 2 GT-R wheels (props to Medfly33 and Logan for helping me get 'em!) along with 275/40/20 Toyo Proxes 4 Plus tires all around today. Notice that it is about 1.1 cm higher but with 1.1cm less wheel well gap...

Thanks fellas! Any idea how to get a very subtle drop of just a couple of cm's?

Looks awesome with GTR's. Your best bet is to go with h&r springs IMO.

+1 on the springs. The wheels look amazing man, better than I would have guessed. It makes it look full on aggressive style, do you feel the difference in unsprung weight?

Thanks. The difference in unsprung weight is very evident. There are a couple of changes all impacting the difference in driving feel simultaneously: 20 lbs. lopped off the unsprung weight out back, a 3.22% increase in tire height impacting revs per mile and ride height plus the fronts just jumped from the contact patch of a 225/55/18 up to the 275/40/20's. In theory, it went from tons of rear grip bias to a much more neutral set up. Amazing what a wheel/ tire swap can do to alter the feel of a vehicle.

That's pretty hot. Wish those photos were clearer. Take some more for us

the GTR wheels go perfect with your EX, the size of the rim is just right.

Thanks you guys. I did have some rubbing today (and my tires made contact with the wells too ha ha). I had 3 passengers and myself out to lunch and we crossed a street with a big up down elevation change where the edge of the streets meet and it made a slight rubbing sound up front when it compressed. It was just for a fraction of a second. It wasn't loud or harsh so I don't think it is much of an issue on this set up.

The increased ride height is bugging me so I want to find stiffer springs that won't compress beyond the low point of my current set up and also won't drop the car more than 1-2 cms. Not sure that exists but I need to find them. Right now it is reminding me of the Mazda CUV that has this exact ride height.

Wow, this looks sick.
Do you plan on removing the crossbars?

Can't say it better than that!
Looks amazing! You're a good man Kevin! You deserve it! Enjoy!

Terry

Thanks, Terry! Back at ya, buddy. Can't wait to see pics of your set up. Post them when you're done?

I thought about it. I might need to see some pics first.
