GTSpec Braces for 2003-2013 Infiniti EX35 FX35 FX45 FX37 FX50 FX50S and other makes

I was told by GTSpec that they will not manufacture those braces anymore, unless I order 10 of each model.:disapointed:

It's not. There are only 2 braces available for 2nd generation at the moment, no STB(ETA late August). Please see the first post.

Maybe become a dealer for Summit? Seems they're the manufacturer for GT Spec. Outside of the US, you can buy Summit, but in the US it's only GT Spec. Or maybe there'd be licensing agreement issues.

Just got a call from GTSpec. They lowered the minimum order quantity. Now if we want a brace that is out of stock we only need 5 people instead of 10 to place an order. If anyone is interested post your requests here. Thank you

PS STB's for both generations should be back in stock late September(they keep pushing it back)

Nice, to hear the STB back in stock soon. My brother-in-law is looking for one :smile (2):

So anyone have any idea where to get GT Spec installation hardware? Just bought a front lower engine brace from a member here. The hardware kit is one time use and I was under the impression that I could order that straight through GT-Spec. Well, just contacted them and they said it's out of stock since they're out of stock on the brace. And they have no idea on when they might get more stock since it's such a low volume product.

GT Spec is such a joke, they don't make anything themselves and just buy from the actual manufacturer in Taiwan. Then they won't actually run their business like a business and carry inventory, it seems we have to have a groupbuy every time just to get braces made. The strange thing is, it seems the brace is in stock at the manufacturer since everyone outside the US is buying directly from Summit, but we can't because of the GT Spec distribution deal. To make it even worse, they don't support products. I've never heard of a company that won't provide hardware for a product because it's a low volume seller. Their business is run like it's one random guy in his apartment just having stuff drop shipped.

Rant over, anyone think I can get the hardware from Summit even though they won't sell the braces here? Or is this something I could find at a hardware store. If I can't figure it out, I just bought a paperweight. Maybe I'll reverse engineer it and just make my own brace; just extruded aluminum and a couple of welded brackets.
