I have a 2005 FX35 and my Outer Tie-Rod end is worn and loose. Do you know how much that woud cost to fix.
Also the dealer quoted me $60 dollar for a Air Filter and $130 for A In-Cabin Microfilter, do you think thats kind of high priced?
I think I can replace my own filters.

Wow... $130 for an In-Cabin Microfilter...? it's only $14 O_o
K&N even sells their air filters for $40.. and it's reusable

the labor charge gets splited in about 3 ways so its normal price for any dealer to charge. For the tie rod ends, any mechanic can fix that. Just buy your own parts heres the link on the bottom if you want to get original parts instead aftermarket.

For the in-cabin filter, they sell the Fram filters for $14 at any Wal-Mart. The model is CF10140

FYI... back in 2009 the infiniti dealership did this on my 2004 FX with just over 100000miles.. it was 115CAD labour, 86CAD each for the tie rod ends. then they did a 4 wheel alignment for another 100 bucks. total around $400 canadian..

Dealership should be asking .5-1.0 hour labor plus parts. @ about $125/hour and I guess a tie rod is about $50-75 dealership mark up. They want yo sell you an alignment @ $129-179.

Thats is the answer to your question.

Get that fix before any filter. Filters u can easily do yourself.
