I know there is allot of posts in regards to charging the fx, but I want to skip to the chase. I want to charge my 08 awd 35, Im tired of these locals getting me light to light, what do you guys recommend for a complete package? There is also a good tuner not to far from me. As far as my car, mechanically it stock with the exception of a stillen CIA, again what's your recommendation?

yeah what are they driving??? Theres lots of mods you can do, I think for the best horse power supercharge maybe turbo or twin turbo, free up the exhaust, and dyno tune.

Well there's a chrysler crossfire I run into time to time, beemers and such! Just want more to kinda even the score up, I realize that the Fx is fast but I want it faster. Any help would be appreciated! Also threw around the idea of going to the 45, but from what I understand more can be done to the 35 than the 45 in the form of mods.

I don't know about your fx but I took down a few cars. SS trail blazer was the funnies he look at me like I had a super charger. And ever thing is stock in my fx even the intake

get a different car.. the fx is not meant for street racing.. it's fat and heavy.. also do your "need for speed" itch on the track..

Yeah Ive taken out plenty of BMW's trail blazers, honda's, acura's, Maxima's... the list goes on. Also when driving I never use the VDC control frees up the wheels a little bit more. Wow a Chrysler crossfire :eek.: those things are turtles compared to the FX.

You're gonna end spending a lot of money... lol it'll be hard getting 300 with bolt-ons alone, I think

To be frank my friend....I was looking at this for a while too.
But the truth is, for those stop light to stop light race...1st Gen FX's 5 spd transmission is "obsolete" that the gear ratio won't do you too much good.
You will need 500hp (roughly 400Whp) to even the stop light race with an FX50 which has "only" 390hp. And the money you need to buy say a second gen FX50 with low miles will pretty much less than if not equal to your car trade in price+all the turbos/superchargers to get to 500hp +labors+some sleepless nights:smile (2):.... The upside is you get a "one of kind" car which is more unique...the downside is your car could not be as reliable as an out of box FX50, and will always require more TLC.
That's why I am now lining more towards on just getting a low mileage FX50s

At first I read the title as "change" not "charge". I'd go with "change"..... Or jut enjoy your fx for what it is. There will ALWAYS be cars/SUVs that will be faster then yours.

Vortech has the kit you need.

I'm fortunate enough to have a FX50, and although i'm not into 'racing' at all, the joy I get from smoking most cars from stop lights or full out blasts on the freeway is immensely satisfying :)

^ or trade up for this and nobody will mess with you, but honestly i hope you know the consequent of "street racing".

The FX is quick ride as it is. You want more power then a supercharger would be a good reliable way to good. You want more power then go with a single turbo or twin turbo setup. Prepare to drop some good money to have it done the right way.

Getting a jump at a light is not the same as street racing. I think turbocad said his FX got a lot quicker when he took out the seats and rear door etc. :)
