thanx to everybody who helped me last time with my issue of the car not starting....after they sent out a regional tech it has still yet to b fixed......my next biggest gripe with the car is squeaking brakes.....i figured i would give infiniti of massepequa a try after some of u guys recommended them and i didnt like my experience there but they brought some things to my attention....i was starting out with my small gripes to then lead to bigger complaints so the 1st thing i mentioned was the brakes squeking....b4 i can say anything else the guys says we dont cover aftermarket brakes which i thought was disrespectful....who said they were aftermarket??????? i told him they were done at kings infiniti and he said then i would need to talk to them....he said brakes have a 12000 mile 1 year warranty but it shows ive only done my front and not my rear which i thought was incorrect... so i head back to kings and i tell them what they said and i really didnt get a response but was told it was my rear brakes squeaking and that i had 4 mm left....i remembered replacing the pads and cutting the rotors this year though....but not the exact date....so i called amex and asked them if they r any payments to infiniti and they confirmed i paid around $250 to them this march but it doesnt specify for what exactly but i know it has to b brakes because everything else is covered...and whatever isnt wouldnt come up to that amount....none the less do you guys have issues with factory brakes? and if so what do you do about it? and if they are squeaking while under warranty is the dealer just supposed to replace them???

I have a 2009.
It has always started for me.
I have 68k miles and I have not changed my brake pads yet.
My dealer is superb to me unlike any other experience but I've also heard of some very bad Infiniti dealership service centers but it is a hit or miss with any car brand dealership.
I do have brake squeaks but that is due to high performance pads we have. Every very good performance minded pads will do that if u don't bed the brakes. If u don't bed the brakes, then go with quiet cheaper brake pads.
My cabin is quiet even after 68k miles.

I also have an 09 and use drilled and slotted rotors with ebc pads. Stopping power is way superior to oem and has actually saved my ass a couple of times. No issues with anything as of yet for about a year or so now.

What dealer did you purchase the car from

Kings Infiniti which I also do all my service there too

Who makes the rotors?

Never had any problems with this car that wasn't my fault or someone else's fault.

I've had the battery go dead on me a few times but that's because the OEM batteries are crap. I since switched with no issues. I don't have any rattles either so to me this interior is holding up well. It takes a lot of abuse and lives up to it.

Only issues I can think of that bothered me was the wood trim peeling on the door which the dealer fixed with no questions asked. And even that is no big deal. All cars have some sort of issue that will need fixing. It's near impossible to find something 100% trouble free. You'll always have at least one thing to give you an issue. Oh and I also had a noisy ticking Y pipe which some added clamps fixed.

Remember these cars are mostly assembled by machine so your going to get a few lemons here and there especially something mass produced. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been enjoying yours and hope your issues get sorted out.

Infiniti's are known for their quality, reliability, and dependability just sometimes you can get a lemon out of the bunch.
