FX35 OEM Tires - change them @ only 7K miles?

Hello,

It might sound crazy..but I am already thinking of replacing tires in my 6 month old FX 35. I am really getting sick of the OEM Tire (Bridgestone Dueler H/P 92A) in my 2012 FX 35. I have put only 7K miles so far but I cant stand the stiff / harsh and noise of that tire any more. Is it is only me having such thoughts or is that how that tire is? I am contemplating replacing it with either the Yoko Parada Spec-X or the Dueler H/L Alenza but not sure if it is worth the spend so soon and would it make a difference as far as ride/noise goes. I am fine trading off performance for some smooth ride. I really like the FX but the ride is harsh to my taste, any small bumps dont go unnoticed :(

But I am not sure if I can get any $ out of my existing OEM tires. Can I? Is ebay the only option or I am thinking of using discount tire and do they offer any trade-in sort of?

What do you guys suggest? Is it worth replacing? Will I see any big difference?

Honestly replacing your tires won't really do anything 20" rims means a very thin side wall on the tire which means it won't absorb impact very well which induces a harsh ride. No matter what you change it to it will be harsh. It was one of the negatives on the reviews I've seen of the FX35

My FX35 came with the 20" rims from the deluxe touring package and I've driven the FX35 with the 18" rims an its noticeably more softer because of the thicker side wall of the 18" setup.

The FX rides good in my opinion but if your wanted a soft compliance ride you should of bought a Lexus or Caddy. Infiniti's are more performance oriented which means its luxury but also performance at the same time. The softer the ride the more terrible it will handle in corners. That's why a Lexus is floaty and the road feedback is terrible.

Thanks for your inputs. Wud take this stiff ride any day compared to a Lexus/Caddy! ;). Was just trying to see if there is anything that I can do to make it a tidy bit less harsh. My wife wanted the wood console trim and had to step up for the Sports Package and ended up with the 20", otherwise wud have gotten the 18". But other than that this is a beauty!

It does not sound crazy to me: I recently leased FX37 AWD (my company pays the lease) and have EXACT same impression from the ride even though I ride on 18" wheels!
I only have 200 miles on my car, same tires, and getting really pissed off thinking that I am in that harsh ride for the next 3 years. I must say majority of Atlanta's roads are severely worn, when I get a chance to ride on a new asphalt it is a smooth ride.
I have seen some good feedback on Michelin LTX A/S tires, anybody rides on those, how's their noise and comfort?
