HI
I have 2005 Infiniti fx35 with factory nav and satellite radio witch is active and i am using it.
I bought MB 1500-nissan. Config the dip switch 1-on 2-off to use the sat radio. connect MB to the radio with 16 pin harness witch come with MB turn the ignition on the nav screen come on but the radio did not start. I disconnect the harness from the MB and every thing work.
While the radio work I connect the MB the radio stop playing after 3 sec. the radio freeze non of the buttons work cant turn off cant volume up or down.

My question is the unit defective or my radio is not compatible I dont have CAT button.

Please stop spamming the boards with your one word responses.

Sounds like there's either an issue with the installation or an issue with the Mediabridge. You say that you have the 1500, but as far as I know, you need the MBR-1503-NIS.

I think FM modulator is your only option then. The add-on systems take one of your inputs away to allow iPod integration. So you would have to give up the use of your sat system to be able to use the iPod.

i dont like FM modulator

The 1503 are for those who don't want the satellite radio function.
The 1500 are for those who do.

I think he was getting his post count up to post pics of the process.
Traik, if there's a reset button the module.. click it to reset it.

I dont know if the mb-1500-nissan is defective or not compatible with my 2005 fx35.
Is any body has install mb-1500-nissan on infiniti fx35

I think mb-1503 using 12 pin harness
Mb-1500 using 16 pin harness

Thank you.

dont buy from Sonic, they sell refurbished stuff. I bought a head unit and it stopped working after a week and you have to deal w "their authorized" warranty repair/return policy

did you get this to work ever?

Or just do the firmware update, u got Mine from ipodcarguys.com I think that's what the site was.. They were a dice authorized dealer and cheap

Guys,
I have an issue with My MB1500 installed into a FX35 AWD 2008 no-nav. Suddenly Bluetooth turned to off and Bluetooth now remains OFF and I cannot anymore pair any phone to the unit. I have called the AudioVox service and they mentionned that it is cause by th absence of the CAT button which is why I cannot bring back the DISCOVERABLE mode. I am really upset by this issue. Also, since IpodCar Pros were the ones who sold me this unit, they should have known that this issue was a potential show stopper. I called them recently for another issue and revert me back saying that my unit was not anymore under warranty ... so ... bye !
What a shame. I am now stuck with a useless bluetooth adapter unless I want to use it wire it up a Apple product which is not at all in my plan.
If you have any option to present to me , I will be a very pleased FXer ....... Thanks :at-wits-end:
Summary - Don't buy Dice Mediabridge products.

Have you try to unplug it f from the radio completely so that it will reset? Doing that has help me a couple of times on various quirkiness.

I would reset it. Once you reset a bluetooth receiving device, it should automatically be in pairing mode

Really? Does this include subwoofers or just electronics?

LOL.....I've read this before in a BMW forum.

I agree........resetting should make it forget about any previously paired devices.
