Anyone ever attempted to retrofit the Gen 2 lower lip spoiler on the Gen 1 FX? Anyone lined it up, how off is it and how much modification needs to be done? I really like that lip.... I can do body work but just wondering if this was a dead end before I consider trying it...

Thanks in advance!

1st Generation width:
75.8 in (1,925 mm)
2nd Generation width:
79.9 in (2,029 mm)

IDK if it will work without cutting the spoiler, etc

Would like very much to see this happen but due to the slice and dice neccesary for the width cut and other poly fitment mods you wouldn't consider an original Rookie bumper?

It was 500.00 for the bumper and oversize shipping from CA to OH maybe 175.00? (Pretty sure that is a high guesstimate) bumper comes unpainted. If you want more details you can ping Rookie via PM but the last time this came up there was interest, maybe a GB?

Damn phone typing, zebra kicked my ass......

Wow. That's not bad at all. But would it look weird with no side skirts? Also how much would painting cost me?

Look at LA's pics. Ed had the bottom inch or so blacked out to reduce mass and tie back into the style of the ride. If you paint the chrome trim like I did I think it balnces out. A bit agressive on the front valance like the jeep SRT8 (a very loose comparison but you get what I mean)
