Hit my front pass rim on curb need advice

Hey guys last week I slipped on some black ice while turning left and the car skidded and my front passenger rim hit a curb around 15 miles an hour. The rim hit the curb in the turned position. The only damage from the outside was a decent size scratch on the lip of the rim otherwise visually everything from the outside looked ok. When I drove away there was a subtle rumble coming from the front end that translated into a vibration through the accelerator. The rumble is not constant it gets louder then quieter-- louder then quieter. I took it to my dealership and explained what happened and asked them to check for any damage to the front end and also had them swap my summer tires out for my winter tires And also had the rim repaired. Now the rumble is only is present only above 40 miles an hour. Surprisingly the alignment on my steering was never off and ever since I hit the curb my alignment has been pretty straight. Even with the new tire that has been mounted and balanced this problem still there And that is what worries me. My dealership said they checked the entire front end including the rim and said everything was mechanically sound. Does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this rumble.

If the sound frequency increases and decreases with speed, then I would say its your hub bearing.

The cheapest OEM assembled Hub bearing available is from Perry on eBay for $156 shipped. It will take couple hours to change it

Thanks for the link! So I guess I'll be looking at around $500 for the dealership to change it with the part :(
I hope there is a cheaper explanation for this problem. Or perhaps I can have a shop do it for cheaper. I have no tools or workspace at the moment.

$160 for a hub and max 2 hours of labor(100-120 an hour) you looking at $360-$400 total. How much your dealer charges you for one labor hour?

OSUFX, are you in the Chicago/Naperville area? BTW, you will need an alignment afterward too. Since it involve loosening the knuckle to slide the half shaft off the hub.

Yeah I'm near there. Forgot about the alignment, man this was is one expensive experience. Atleast I got my wheel fixed for a decent price. For $100 accurate alloy came in a van to the dealership and fixed my rim like new-- great guys
