Hello guys!

I've been a member for a while now lurking around in the forums. I drive a 2008 Infiniti FX35 Sport-Tech. I'm going to be getting new rotors, lines and pads soon and have been researching for a while now. It seems that Centric premiums are the way to go since R1 uses their products anyways and just charges more. I found this on ebay and just wanted to share it here just in case I buy the wrong rotors or something. I'm about to pull the trigger on these and just get some steel braided lines done by my cousin. Should I? Thanks in advance!

This is the car btw

Good deal on good products. But the ad says 2003-2007. Does the 2008 use a different brake pad?

'n on Xparent Red 2

My understanding was the split is between the early and later 05 model. 03 - early 05 1/2, the front pad is 4.73 inches while later 05 - 08 the front pad is 5.12 inches. The rear is the same from 03 - 08.

So Mylo, you may want to verify the listing before you buy.

Thanks so much you guys for the advice and help! I'll have to ask the seller in an email or just call them to make sure everything is good to go. I really think this price is pretty decent considering it comes with pads.

call r1concepts.com... i got a set of pads n rotors, front and rear for under 200 for the set... call them cuz they have a packaged deal not listed online

btw, that price was for the standard eline series with ceramic pads.. not cross drilled or slotted rotors

Yea I'm looking to get cross drilled and slotted ones because I like the way they look and hey, if its been proven to reduce the heat flow and last longer then shucks why the heck not! I'll call different places for sure when it comes time to make the purchase. Thanks !

^ Drilled only is the way to go IMO^ Slotted really chews down the pads in a hurry, I would also go semi-metallic not ceramic. They might not last as long but better stopping power and less noisey. Once again this is just my opinion from what I've seen

Nice looking set of rotors mine look the same cross drilled and slotted with the black centers but the brand is kinetic racing.

Okay so yours are slotted as well, do you know if it chews through the pads a lot quicker than non slotted? if its like minimal then i dont mind. also if it causes any vibration when braking as well.

:disapointed: this is making me second guess my choice. It makes sense since the car is pretty heavy. Do the semi-metallic ones waste a lot quicker or is it just a minimal kind of thing? And for noise, the ones in the ad say they are posi-quiet ceramic, does that matter or is that probably a marketing scheme so that they can sell more pads? lol
