I like my FX, but that's not the reason why I'm saying the X6m looks worse.
I just don't like the style of the X6. Simple.

I do love the fact that I get people asking if my car is brand new and I answer with "Nope, 5 years old." that says a lot for the timeless look of the first gen.

I can afford one... In any case, when I parked next to one a couple weeks ago, I told my friend that if the FX wasn't made, I would have purchased that. My order is FX, X6, then Cayenne. And those are the only ones I liked when I purchased my FX (I go back and forth on the ML). Since then, the Evoque has turned me on. The main reason I'll most likely never buy a BMW though is because they seem to look outdated each time a new one comes out, as opposed to looking timeless, which seems to be the same with Cayennes and MLs. I'm going to have my FX for a long time, and am super happy
