The best looking SUV ever made

03-08 FX35-FX45 is probably the best looking SUV's ever made, I just could not find any other SUV that has anything close its special character, probably the closest ever - from my prospective - was the latest Ford Edge but not quit there yet. I am talking only about looks and only SUV's.
The only one angle that looks really ugly though, that I have always wished if I can modify and fix, which is when you look at the car from either 10 or 2 o'clock from a 2 meters hight, it would look then like a tailless crocodile with big jaws and small but. I though Infiniti will fix that in the totally new body back in 2009 but they made it overall even worst! - no offense this is just a personal taste, for the 03-08 FX35-45 to remain the best looking SUV's ever made.

The FX has timeless styling and the designers nailed it, especially the first generation. The design, including concept stages, has been around over 10 years now and it still looks better than SUVs today. A modded FX is tough to beat too! :good:
 
i'd have to disagree.. maybe one of, maybe... but definitely not the best ever.. sorry to burst your bubble..

a nice combination would of been 03-08 fx rear and 06-10 porsche cayenne turbo front
 
knew you'd ask... for one... just looks.. x6m.. performance wise it'll qualify too..

you'd have to park next to one to see what i mean.. just that front bumper blows the fx away.. i had to move my fx.. lol.. pictures alone don't do it justice..

The X6m is a hit and miss really. When the design first came out, almost everyone hated it.. because it looked like a bloated pig.
Now, I guess, some have grown to the look... still doesn't look better than the 1st gen FXs in my opinion.

EDIT: after a quick google search, I read somewhere that someone said it looks like one of those pigs on Angry Birds lol

I saw one of these in the same color and was not impressed, the guy driving it looked like he was into my FX though.

we'll those that can't afford it will say anything.. like the aesop fable, fox and the grapes?.. like i've mentioned unless you park next to one.. then you'll never see the difference.. i did.. don't get me wrong, the fx 1st gen is nice.. but when the op said nothing comes close to it, i just had to chime in.. personal preference / opinion or not, there are other suv that looks, sad to say better.. maybe when it first came out, nothing came close.. by chance i just referenced a x6m..
 
Never quite understood what was going on back there...X5 M is better IMO.

i've given some cars a second glance but it was more like, "wow :bad:" and not "wow :good:".. anyway, just saying..

well there you go.. like i've said it was just by chance that i referenced a x6m.. but yup, x5m or x6m.. definitely up there..

Friend's car, she bought it a month prior to the photo, took it right after we got the plates on.

I don't think the 1st gen FX is the best looking SUV/crossover of all time, maybe it was ~a decade ago?
But I, honestly, think the X6m looks like a hog.

I think the X6M looks as bad a Panamera. Both try way to hard to be something they are not.

X5M looks cool though, except I could fit a midget in the wheel gap.

relax dude.. this discussion is getting out of hand.. clearly you love your fx.. my point here is again sad to say, there are other suv's out there that looks way better than the fx.. most here will not agree because they love their fx too.. again the fx 1st gen is nice.. but to say the best, let's just agree that it's subjective and end it at that..

I like my FX, but that's not the reason why I'm saying the X6m looks worse.
I just don't like the style of the X6. Simple.
