Thanks!

TUne was $550. That includes the license, dyno time, and the two guys crawling all over my car making sure it was perfect.

The RareJDM Harness cover I purchased from ConceptZ.

Check them out they keep a lot of rare parts in stock, and if you see something thats out of stock or something you want shoot them an email, they might be able to get it for you.

Hey did u change ur spark plugs when u did the Uprev tune? Found a place that quoted me $700...so might do this instead of the unichip.
I've heard you should go a step colder when doing the tune...

Yes & Yes.

I was due to change my spark plugs (and would recommend doing so regardless before you tune). And I did indeed go one step colder on the spark plugs (#6 as opposed to #5).

My tuner mentioned this just give him more flexibility in the timing adjustment.

Cool...what spark plugs did you go with? Can you tell me the brand and model# if you can?? I'm thinking to go Denso Iridiums

Bit of a media dump as I havn't been updating as regularly as normal.

RHO Plate bracket. This guy is a true professional, and he is local to Vancouver, met up with me and perfected the kit a little on my car. So you guys can definitely buy with confidence from this guy. His kit fits perfectly.

Some time ago I met up with another member on here, and we tinted his reflectors and also deleted his rear wiper. I also shaved all the lettering off his reflectors as I did with my own.

I also got my projector lights installed:

Okay lighting stuff, as some of you may have realized I am crazy about lighting. I think I have now perfected the LED's throughout my ride.

The other great thing about these new bulbs is they have less yellow on them, so they look better in the housing:

Maaan I luv ur FX!!...so original..u got style kid :)

Thanks!

Getting restless and bored again. Thanks to Justin who got me back in contact awhile ago with Phil (Aka LazyLagger). I finally have pulled the trigger on:

*WAIT FOR IT*

20131127_135552_zpsf93dec70.jpg

This decision involved a lot of deliberation, but I see myself quickly approaching a plateau with where I can go with the FX without serious money. I decided a $5k to $7k BBK was not the solution to make my car what I want, so I decided that I would put a BBK on hold and move forward with Bags instead.

The decision about the brakes was made easier by the fact that I apparently still have like 75% left on my pads and the shop said my rotors look like new (full Brake job was done right before I received the FX).

For now I eagerly await the arrival of the bags, while I deliberate the pros and cons of different management systems. Install is slated for end of sometime in the fall.

Logically seems like the way to go for any 2nd gen owner, you can dial in specs at ride height to make sure you aren't ripping up tires, and then when you park you can still lay frame.

I'm heavily leaning towards Accuair for air management, but the Autopilot V2 is so much simpler to install, and also a good $500 cheaper as well.

The only reason I am shying away from the autopilot system is the fact that they have said they will never come out with a mobile app. As much as it may seem trivial I think being able to wirelessly control the system from 200' away could be a hilarious thing to do, if not a novelty.

Nice pick up on the air ride meme. Back when the guy had it for sale here, it was so tempting. Document the install if you doing to install it yourself.

nice pickup. I was about the purchase those as well. The price was right, that was forsure. The only reason i didnt go for them was because it didnt have camber plates(front),bag height adjustments and dampening.(airrex struts do) I also had the Autopilot V2 on my previous car and it works well and never let me down.Install was a breeze. The only downside when riding on air was the handling, too much body roll IMO.

here was my previous ride on bags

I don't know about DIY'ing something like this. I'm not quite at your level. I think the way I am going to do it, is get a shop to install the bags and struts, and plumb the entire system to get it functional. Then over time I will setup my trunk, with the compressors and tank the way I want. I have the experience and ability to hardline myself so that stuff shouldn't be a problem.

The main concern I have about installing and doing the plumbing myself, is the fact that if I go with Accuair the stupid little height sensors need to be mounted very specifically and that could mean some fabrication which I might not have the capability to do.

Thanks. Yeah there are some cons to the Air runner kit, but the airrex kit has some pitfalls as well, and I was also quoted a frankly ridiculous price for the bags (like really ridiculous).

Overall I think I will be happy with the Air runner kit, as a lot of people in the industry have said good things about them.

My main concern right now isn't camber, as I will just use a driving height that allows me to get all my camber and toe back within spec, I don't really mind running high while driving as long as I can still slam it when I am parked. The concern I do have right now is the fact that air runner would not guarantee these bags fit an AWD vehicle.

I know that coils when moving from a AWD to RWD vehicle are the same, and that iMotion doesn't seem to have a problem with his AWD being on bags, but I will have my reservations until I receive the kit and do a mock up. Here's to praying everything works out with minimal to no modifications necessary. :smile (2):

Very nice meme.

Nice ride man!

That's a beautiful ride man

^Thanks guys.

Minor update and some Eye Candy.

Update first:

Tore off my hood liner, and skinned the innards of my hood in TechFlex's gold heat reflective foil. It goes nicely with all the other little accents in my bay:
