New FX owner here

Hello, just purchased a 2006 FX35 fully loaded in Obsidian Black w/ wheat interior
I was looking for a 45 for a while but after driving the 35 I found the power adequate for my needs.

Couple of questions, I had to get a new battery and after installation the airbag light is blinking. I tried the key reset a couple of times but a day later it comes back on.

Next the intelligent cruise control is a little buggy. I find it detects semis in lane 2 if I'm in lane one and refuses to pass them. I washed the sensor and it didn't help.

Next question is I was going to have best buy install iSimple so I can connect my iPod to the factory radio. Is this an ok system to use?
 
Welcome to :iS:, have you checked with a mechanic on hat can be causing the light to blink or the dealer you bought it from?
 
I have an appointment scheduled with Infinti on Tues. so we will see. I bought the car as-is so I know I wont be getting help from selling dealer. These airbag units just don't go bad so I assume it's something little.
 
Welcome to :iS2:. I heard one member posted on here that the iSimple volume is a bit low. I use Dice Mediabridge and works pretty good. This has volume gain control you can set. The iSimple Gateway is really good. The volume does seem to sound lower than FM quality, but you can use the auxiliary option to change that. Also plugging in your ipod with the iPod cable, you can control your ipod. There's 3 modes the gateway has.

As for the ICC, yes it's very buggy. You can be in the last lane, a semi 2 lanes over will slow you down. Putting the ICC into the shortest setting helps alleviate this issue, but not fully.
