As the title says, after I dropped my Fx a few weeks back I noticed by beam pattern is off and they don't spread out like they used too. They seem like they are Pointed down. Has anyone had this issue or am I just trippin?

Do you have adaptive headlights? If you do they auto level themselves via a ride height sensor in the rear suspension.

If you don't have adaptive headlights you should have a manual levelizer switch up front next to the steering wheel

I am sitting on H and R's which is 1.3 front and 1.2 rear so practically the same.

Ya I have the adaptive headlights and they dont look they auto leveled themselves after the drop, weird

Since I have the adaptive headlights is there still a manual levelizer?

Oh I see. This is a common issue with people who have the G's with the adaptive headlights. Sometimes after lowering it confuses the rear ride height sensor for the headlights and they point themselves down. Only fix I heard was for them to take it to the dealer and pay for them to hook the computer to reprogram the sensor to point the headlights back up. I saw some similar problems on the G forums.

Cool thanks for the info Aaron. Do you by chance know the link to the thread on the G forums?

No prob I could be wrong though but I'm judging on what I've seen happen to some people.

Normally when people get into my car and the car goes down I see the headlights adjust themselves and move back up because the ground clearance has changed. If its not moving back up after the drop it must be confusing the sensor.

I hope my ride height sensor is working properly, I don't want to pay the dealer to reprogram it

Just wanted to update this...I took my FX in for my 10,000 mile service and informed them of my issue...they said they moved my lights "10 clicks up" and that they are now "within factory specs"...that seemed to work perfect...

Yes...take it to your dealer. As I wrote above...they need to adjust them. They moved mine "10 clicks up" but they didn't seem high enough. So I took it in again and they moved them up "as high as they could within factory specs"...now they are perfect...

I had to take mine to the dealer and they adjusted it

just curious, how much was it for your dealer to adjust it?

Can you just do it by manually?

Mine did it free and it's actually better than how it came stock and it doesn't blind ppl either.

Geez. The modern times. Can't even adjust the stinkin headlights with an Allen wrench anymore....
