Replacing the Belts

Are there only two belts that need to be replaced in the front of the engine? Is there a timing belt?

I believe FX were timing chain. I'm pretty sure others will be able to confirm this :smile (2):

I know there are two serpentine belts on the Gen1. Timing belt is additional and is under the timing chain cover

yes two belts, timing chain is hidden and no need to change.

Ahhhh, so no performance gains.. or smoother acceleration. Basically, some look/last better than others.

No belts would reduce parasitic drag drastically and increase hp...until your battery dies.

The water pump is not belt driven. It runs off the timing chain and it completely hidden behind the timing chain cover.
