Will 10" wide rims fit on a JX35 ?

I have a new white Infiniti JX on order and really have my heart set on getting the Ace Alloy 22" Scorpio white machined face rims but only available in 10" wide. They come with an offset up to 40mm but have not been able to determine if these will fit the JX or not. Was thinking of 285/35/R22 tires but will also consider the 265/40/R22 tires if necessary which sounds like others have used.....but my understanding is that these are a bit narrow for a 10" wide rim. Anybody have any insight or installed a 10" wide rim on the JX? Did the analysis on RimsNTires.com (very helpful) but still no way to know for sure. Wouldn't be a big deal if I had the rims to try fitting but I have to ship in to Canada. Feedback would be much appreciated.

If I could attach files.....not sure if I can do this on this forum....I would include. But anyways, did the comparison on RimsnTires.com calculator.....very handy!

Keeping the diameter the same is no problem....within 1%. I have seen pictures of a JX with 22" x 9"w x 22mm offset and apparently no problems. I think he used 265/40/R22 tires but not sure. When I run this in the calculator it shows 1.7" projection past the factory setup which is 18 or 20", 7.5"w, 50mm offset. Looks good in the pictures though.....suprisingly flush with the outside of the body. He does however also have more clearance than factory on the inside according to the calculator.

When I run the numbers on the rims/tires I am considering, (22" x 10"w x 40mm offset max with 285/35/R22 tires), my projection is only 1.4" past factory setup but a bit less clearance than factory on the inside (15mm) but I am guessing 15mm difference should be OK. Now I'm wondering if I should go with a lesser offset to push the tires out further.....especially since the 1.7" projection looks flush in the pictures (surprisingly)....hope the calcs are right.

Wish I could check it in person but unfortunately don't have that luxury.

Any further insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

i currently have 285/35/22 on a 22x10.5" rim which has a slight stretch to it which i like. i think 285/35/22 will be just fine on a 22x10 rim for a JX

Are you referring to your FX or do you have 22x10.5" on a JX ? If so, what offset? Is that it in the picture or do you know what rim width/offset those are? Thanks for the feedback.
