Go to a V8

Maybe this one you saw today needs the transmission reflash? Maybe this 50 has a more sensitive throttle because it was driven harder? Not a bad thing, maybe the one you drove earlier was in "grandma mode"? I see there was a copper in the background, but it was a 35?

Yeah, just wait till the next one comes along. But, it could be that the dealer needs to check over and reset ECU or something and then it will drive like normal. When I take mines to the dealer it feels better then before i brought it in; not sure what they do to tune it up etc. Then again it could just be my mind playing tricks on me.

Sadly it was a 35.

I see. Are you going to keep your front lip to put on the new one if you get it?
It depends, but I will have a lip on my next one for sure.

I agree Chris it might just need a going over at the Dealers.

Aaron , their were no rattles, it just didn't feel right, it was something I can't explain. The other 50 I took out a week ago generally felt more solid , the transmission shifted better, brakes seemed to work better.
The salesmen told me they have not gone over it yet.
This car did have all the options you could get, and was just what I wanted but I felt it wasn't look after.

I'm still thinking about it, I know Karen really liked it.

Go with our intuition !!! It's your little guardian angel telling you something ......... there will be others out there !!!!

thanks 2012, I'm definitely thinking this one over with caution..

If it feels awkward skip it. The important thing is your wife is on board, now you're the king of the hill and can afford to be picky

:clap:Yes, I was surprised when she was ready to put down a deposit to hold it.

Totally agree with this statement.

Looks like everyone is on the same page here!

who knows maybe the air filters were bad, oil not changed for awhile, no TSBs done, not reset in awhile, etc. So many things or a combination of all. Wayne, if you would have bought this, you would have bought exactly when I bought mine. On the flip side, the stuff you mentioned are items that can be fixed. Low mileage and perfect color you can't change. But then again if it's not in your gut then don't. I think either way you'll be happy. I got mine at 26,000 miles! :)

Sounds like Karen will be taking the 50 and you can drive the 35! ha!

Talked to a few other Dealers today on my hunt for a FX50. Told them I want A car in very good shape , low mileage , loaded S model, and preferred gray, copper, liquid platinum or if something else in perfect shape shows up I would consider it.

One of my reliable contacts got hold of me and they have a FX50S , fully loaded and only 24,000 miles on it. Only problem is the color, it's white (lol, sorry Jonas had to say it, j/k) Hope it is still available when I get back in 1 1/2 weeks so I can check it out.

Nice. If its still available, it means they'll be more willing to sell for a lower price.....
