Recommendation of Wheels for Black FX35 20's

I am going to be getting some new tires soon and was considering switching my stock wheels 18's for 20's. I just think there is way to much profile of the tire on 18's
Has anyone that has done this comment on how rough the ride gets compared to 18's ? Does handling improve ?
Any recommendations on clean looking 20's that cost under $800 for set of 4? I browsed through the wheel post with pictures only saw one I liked "Zenetti Ellipse"
My car is black so Gunmetal or Silver would work or any from new model FX ?

Current 265/60-18 vs 265/50-20

I like the Zenetti Ellipse just can't seem to find anyone that sells them, Discontinued ????
 
The smaller sidewall will increase handling. You might feel the bumps a bit more with 20's but not by much. As far as wheels for under $800 for a set, I can't help you there. There are plenty of them around. They will be a lot heavier and and weaker than your oem set; which will take away from any performance gains a stiffer sidewall may give you.

Don't forget there are stock 20" wheels that come on the "sport" package. You might be able to find a member that has the 20" stockers after buying some aftermarket wheels.

I have owned two FXs. The first had stock 20", the second had stock 18". The ride is bouncier on the 18" wheels without a doubt. The 20" wheels ride more like a car and less like a SUV. I say go with 20" and never look back if you find them for the right price. That being said, stock 20" wheels are 38 lbs each. If you can find a lighter wheel, that will improve performance as well.

Now that you have that advice, I would say if you want to improve your ride and handling, aftermarket adjustable dampening, adjustable height, coil over suspension is the best bang for your hard earned dollar. You can close the tire gap, dial in the shock dampening (stiffness) to your personal tastes and improve your mpgs all at the same time. Yes, I have had these as well, on both FXs.

Don't rule out 22" wheels. More than a few examples here in IS. Check out iForged wheels.

I have a set of black/polished lip 22s that came of my fx. Brand new tires to boot $1000 takes all. I upgraded to the gtr wheels. text me, I can send you pictures if interested 423-320-3387

I am looking for Gunmetal or dark grey 5 spokes 20's but good luck on your sell!
