Interesting that the rotor hat is quite a bit larger than the rotor itself. It looks nice but I think I would rather have a larger contact area with the rotor itself. For example this is on my Z32:




Like I said though, looks nice and the blue really pops!

They are StopTech as well from the same BBK as the calipers.

The contact area is about the same as on the Stoptechs you posted. But that's a 15" rotor so it just looks smaller. If you really measured, I'm sure the swept area is the same as comparable big brake kits and more than OEM.
