FX performing/running much better at a specific Shell gas station.

Have you guys felt the difference with a new oil change? Well this specific gas station that i fill 91 (premium unleaded), FX seems to have more high end torque/horsepower over 60-130mph. I have pumped shell into the blood of the FX for years but lately ive been filling up this specific gas station from time to time and feel the difference right away. Also the car consumes less gas and high mph increase (than any other shell). Very interesting.
 
I fill up with Shell V-Power 90% of the time. There's this other specific BP station I have filled up and I feel more power from using that gas. Maybe its all in our heads! :hahaha:
 
what amazes me when i floor the fx, the car acts similar to the g37 loaners how they picked up so quickly. Hopefully the tranny isnt going out on me [ i heard when the g35's g37's tranny's go bad the car unusually gets faster from 2 guys who owned both cars (hopefully it's a myth)]
 
I've always told myself that I get the best performance/butt dyno from Shell petrol...but nothing to ever prove that.
 
I use to fill up with petro Canada. then i did the switch to shell and i felt it less sluggish and got better fuel economy with shell
 
I usually get Shell as it's the most convenient station. I've found Mobil to be very good for gas mileage though.

I know what you mean. One time I went to an official trip to Atlantic City, NJ and my full tank was almost bone dry on my return trip so I went to this particular Shell near my place to top up V-power full tank - company authorized reimbursed of course. I usually don't go to this station as they charges a few points higher even compared with other Shell. To my surprise, the engine tone seems richer, the car seems more responsive and there was more umphh when I hit the gas.
 
I have always used shell on my FX unless I'm somewhere where I can't get shell and then I just put Mobil. I think shell is awesome and I have never had any issues using v power gasoline. I actually not mind buying the extra money when I use shell.

You will feel the difference, i usually go there with a empy tank, and fill it up to half a tank
 
and the prices are pretty low, compared to other shell gas stations. Lately ive been seeing allot of bmw m3's pumping gas here, i guess they feel it too
 
I pump at Shell all the time. I use to pump at Mobil before but lately they've been using some shitty ass gas. It was making my car spark knock.

I switched to Shell V Power with a bottle of Chevron Techron fuel cleaner and it all went away. I just stick to Shell from now on.
